Hi! I´m VERA
I have the interest of sharing the great potential of various somatic techniques in lieu of internal and external transformation.
I have explored the somatic arts for many years as a means of self-knowledge, creative expression, and emotional catharsis. I´m a certified Hatha Yoga teacher since 2009 (Yoga Alliance E-RYT200), and I have been a professional contemporary dancer with specializations in Graham and Limon techniques. I have been complemented my work with classical ballet and jazz along other contemporary styles, yoga and Pilates, technique that I gained my certification as a teacher from Pilates Coach in 2004. Since then I have gathered a great deal of experience teaching on its various apparatus and use of props.
I was part of the Professional Dance School of Mazatlan and I have been performed in various forums and theathers under the direction of choreographers of international stature like Victor Ruiz, Claudia Lavista, Rafael Carlin and Lola Lince among others.
I completed a course in anatomy and somatic techniques for the stage with the University of Guadalajara, and a transpersonal Mindfulness education training for children and teens. I graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques and I am currently a photographer by profession.
The bigger labor I have is to be mother of two girls. I´ve mexican family origin, recently living in California.
